"You become what you think about, so be sure that your thoughts are filled with what you want to be"

Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810)

The problem

Conscious anxiety reflects a subconscious fear that we are unable to deal with the varying, often unexpected and competing demands of everyday life. Instead we can become withdrawn, self-absorbed and focused on what we think we lack, frustrated that we are not where we think we should be, and perhaps even envious of what others have achieved.

The Solution

Kabbalistic Life Coaching is an innovative, cognitive-behavioural approach to personal development, effectively bridging the gap between traditional therapy and life coaching.

Unlike many coaching approaches, which tend to focus on the symptoms of distress, e.g. problems associated with specific jobs or career paths, concerns about health & fitness, or financial worries and so forth, as if each can simply be compartmentalized in this way, Kabbalistic Life Coaching instead considers the underlying causes of anxiety, i.e. how you generally relate to people and circumstances in your everyday life.

As a result of identifying these internal barriers it is thereby more effective at treating the whole person rather than just the sum of the parts.

How does it work?

Based on a therapeutic model initially developed by Israel ben Eliezer (the Ba'al Shem Tov) (1698-1760), founder of the Hasidic movement, and elaborated upon more recently by Yitzchak Ginsburgh, it works on the principle that the process of spiritual growth and psychological well-being must proceed through 3 developmental stages, termed 'submission', 'separation' and 'sweetening'.
